Qualified Tribes for over $30M in TED Bonds

NAC managing director Gavin Clarkson’s testimony before the Senate Finance Committee was instrumental in Congress’s removal of onerous restrictions on tribes in the issuance of municipal revenue bonds  on a par with non-Indian communities.  The result was the creation of the $2 Billion authority at Treasury for the issuance by tribes of up to $2 Billion in Tribal Economic Development (TED) Bonds.  Following the passage of this new program, NAC guided multiple tribal clients to apply for and receive approval to issue over $30 Million in TED Bonds.
